  Summer 2003 Workshop
Collaborating Toward Coherence: Critical Thinking From Sandbox to Mortar Boards

Sleeping Lady Resort, Leavenworth, WA
July 24, 25, & 26, 2003

The WSU Critical Thinking Project with support from the WSU CO-TEACH Project held a summer critical thinking workshop at The Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth, WA.  The focus of the workshop was the integration of Critical Thinking practices into the classroom. Workshop participants engaged in collaborative dialogue with fellow educators to establish ways in which K-20 teachers can help students develop as critical thinkers.  A combination of large group and small group sessions were offered.  Facilitators of small group sessions included members from the WSU Critical Thinking Project, community college faculty and K-12 teachers.  While the workshop was geared toward K-12 teachers WSU and community college faculty also attended.
